Loyd Patrick Foster

Memorial services for Mr. Loyd Patrick Foster, age 57, of Big Sandy, will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Big Sandy with Rev. Gregg Traylor and Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.

Loyd passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Longview. He was born in Houston on July 21, 1960. He worked as an industrial welder for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Big Sandy. Mr. Foster loved to travel, he was fascinated by history and enjoyed woodworking. He also enjoyed the Native American culture and antique cars. Loyd could often be found spending time with his family, especially his grandsons who he took great pride in.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yvette Foster; son, Joseph Foster; daughters, Ashley Hamberg and husband Albert, Krystal Drake and husband Christopher; brothers, Daniel Vernon, Billy Foster and wife Sherry; sisters, Glenda Scott and husband Paul, Lorette Bonner, Lycrecia Vernon; and grandsons, Ashton Foster, and Aiden and Adam Hamberg.

Loyd was preceded in death by his sister, Maureen Sanders.
