Born on February 25, 1954, in Bibb County, Alabama, she died on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. She was a retired store manager for Dollar General. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Dean Woods of Big Sandy; one son, Alvin Dean Woods II of Big Sandy; 2 daughters, Lisa Annette Woods of Big Sandy; Sheila Luraine Kennedy of Gladewater; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Billy Ray Allen of Ganado; Charles Ellis Allen and Frank Allen, both of Wichita Falls; and 1 sister, Pat Allen of Wichita Falls. No visitation is scheduled.
