Celebration of life services for Lottie Mae West, 72, of Gladewater will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Mrs. West passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Gladewater. Lottie was born February 24, 1944 in Mineola, Texas to the late Thomas Edward Forrister and Flora Irene Graham. She was a retired nurse after many years of service. Lottie was very competitive in every aspect of her life. She enjoyed fishing, dancing and games of chance. Lottie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She will be truly missed by all the friends and family she leaves behind. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law Mitzi Easley of Gladewater and Cassandra Clark and husband David of Plano; son Dave R. West, Jr.; two sisters Pauline Lethridge of Virginia and Charlene Brown of New Hope; five grandchildren Alena Markins, Jennifer Asp, Dave R. West, III, Kevin Scott West and Brian Joseph West; two great grandchildren Emmett and Chloe; two grand animals Rumble and Snowball; numerous nieces, nephews as well as many other loving family and friends. Lottie is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Dave Ray West, Sr. who passed away in 2012, daughter Cathryn Marie Darwin, son Kenneth Ray West, sister Lorene Duke, brother James Forrister and grandson James Moore. The family will receive friends following Lottie"s life celebration.
