Services for Mrs. Lorene Hutson, 92 of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Antioch Baptist Church in Upshur County with Bro. David Snelson, Bro Ray Thompson and Bro. Larry Lansdale officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs Hutson will be buried at Alphin Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas on Thursday at 4:00 P.M. She passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010, in Gilmer. She was born February 2, 1918, in Midway, Texas to John Andrew Alexander Knight and Minnie Lee Reynolds Knight. She married Travis Hutson in Palestine, Texas on April 27, 1947 and he passed away in 1976. Mrs. Hutson was a teacher, homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Paulette Springer of Kilgore; daughters and son-in-law, Rosa Carol Springer Denson of Gilmer; Johnnie Hutson Ross and Leon Ross of Jacksonville; sister, Ella Mae Beck of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers are John Denson, Alfred Springer V, Josh Ross, Paul Ryan Springer, Darryl Low, Leon Ross. Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Jack Lyle, Tommy Gipson and Steven Gipson. The family will receive friends at Croley Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
