Lonnie C. "Andy" Anderson Sr., 79, of Gilmer passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012, in Longview, Texas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas. He was born on March 30, 1933, in Hemphill, Texas to Ernest L. and Alberta Harvey Anderson. Mr. Anderson, Sr. was a Sgt in the U. S. States Air Force, a heavy equipment salesman and a member of the Bethesda Masonic Lodge #142 A.F. & A. M in Gilmer. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Anderson of Gilmer; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie C. Anderson and Teresa of Pasadena, Jim Anderson and Christy of Conroe; Daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Spencer Hill and Kelly of Granbury, Linda Allen and Marvin of Anna, Texas; sister, Vermell Brust of Hemphill; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by Grandson, Douglass Blackstone.
