Lola Onita Harrison

Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Onita Harrison, 88, of Grand Prairie, Texas, a former resident of the Latch Community will be held 2:00 P. M. Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donny Chamberlain officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Harrison passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Grand Prairie. She was born on October 13, 1925, in Fluvanna, Texas to James Edgar Evans and Virgie Marie Shewmake Evans. Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker and a member of Latch Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Ricky Don Harrison and wife, Betty of Gilmer, Michael Wayne Harrison and wife, Linda of Grand Prairie and Jimmy Joe Harrison of Arlington; sister, Eddie Marie Childers of Pearland, Texas; 7 grandchildren, Jason and wife Bonnie, Jeremy and wife Jennifer, Joshua and wife Amanda, Joseph and wife, Jessica and Christopher and wife Megan Harrison, Stephanie and Joshua Yancy and Lindsay and Jordan Fetter and 19 great grandchildren. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobbie Joe Harrison and 2 brothers, Billy and James Earl Evans. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Joshua, Joseph and Christopher Harrison and Joshua Yancy. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home.
