Funeral services for Lois M. Bennett, 90, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Wood County Bro. Bob Sexton and Bro Trey Lanier officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Wood County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Bennett left this world to be with her loved ones who have passed before, Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Tyler. Mrs. Bennett was born December 23, 1922 in Coffeeville, Kansas to Aaron M. and Della Brewington Morris. She married Almus L. Bennett in Cushing, Oklahoma on October 7, 1940. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Cushing. She and her sister sang for the church and were very active church members. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and joined Liberty Baptist Church in Hawkins in 1969. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Thomas A. Bennett and wife Clara of Cibolo, Texas, Dennis L. Bennett and wife Joann of Hawkins and James E. Bennett and wife Earllene of Tyler; nine grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by both parents; husband, Almus L. Bennett; daughter, Janet M. Boothe; and grandson, Micheal Bennett and granddaughter, Andrea Tilley. Pallbearers will be David Bennett, Jeff Bennett, Jeramie Bennett, Scott Bennett, Anthony Carrig, Jason Logan and Glenn Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Corey Robinson, Joshua Robinson and Codey Robinson. She was a very loving person who everyone loved in return. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
