Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Calvin Wells, 96, of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, Texas. A burial will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:30 P.M., Monday, March 20, 2017.

Mr. Wells passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Corsicana, Texas. He was born on July 15, 1920 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Calvin Wells and Mina Riddle Wells. Mr. Wells was a veteran of the United States Army and an electrician supervisor for Hughes Aircraft and later an assembler at Walmart. He married Mrs. Billie Taylor Wells on May 12, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mr. Wells is survived by his loving wife, Billie Wells of Holly Lake Ranch; sons, Robert Wells and wife Beverly, of Gladewater and Donald Love of North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Kim Wells-Baker and Ben Baker of Wortham; grandchildren, Kory Wells and his wife, Katlynn, Michael Love; niece, Jean Browning and her husband, James and nephew, Paul Newman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mina Wells; son, Lloyd Calvin Wells, Jr.; sister, Edith Bourdelais and grandson, Steven Love.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
