Lindy G. Murrell DIANA �Graveside services for Lindy G. Murrell, 74, of Ore City will be at 10:00 A.M., July 10, 2015 at Coffeeville Cemetery in Upshur County, with Reverend Rob Keith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away July 3, 2015 in Gilmer. Lindy was born June 16, 1941 in Ore City, Texas to Pat and Catherine Murrell. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and later retired from LSS after 24 years. He was of the Baptist faith Lindy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Kaitlin Murrell, grandchildren: Aaron Murrell, Jenny Eason, McKenzie Murrell, Emaline Murrell and Heston Murrell, great-grandchild: Peyton Murrell, sisters: Juanita Montgomery, Judy Burton, Peggy Campbell, Patsy Dial and Karen Dolson, brother-in-law: Neal Montgomery and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dot Montgomery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 9, 2015, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
