Linda Lee Maxfield

A Gathering of Friends and Family for Mrs. Linda Lee Maxfield, 71, of Gilmer, Texas will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 1:00P.M. To 5:00 P.M. at her home, 216 Henderson Street in Gilmer, Texas.
Linda was born in Independence, Missouri on September 14, 1945, to Russel Edward and Mary Virginia (Cochran) LaBarge. She passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 in Gilmer. Linda graduated in 1963 from Tyler Catholic High in Tyler, Texas. She began work with United Telephone in Tyler and eventually retired after thirty plus years with Sprint Corporation in Overland Park, Kansas. She enjoyed spending time laughing with family and friends, and her spunky spirit will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her son, Brian Maxfield of Gilmer; granddaughter, Madison Maxfield; brother, Jim LaBarge of Gilmer; sister, Brenda Cope of Gilmer, many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby LaBarge; sister, Mary Ann Johnstone; and sister in law, Pat LaBarge
