Graveside services for Ms. Linda Lawson Fleet, 70, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Bro. Paul Chandler officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
Linda was born on December 7, 1946, in Gilmer, Texas to Haskel Jackson Dean and Mattie Eugenia Cook Dean. She passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Gilmer. Ms. Fleet was a retail associate at Walmart and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Brenda Davis, Donald and Cindi Davis; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Ballowe and Haskel Larandon Dean; sister, Susie Bridges; six grandchildren, Brannon Dekota and Aleshia Davis, Kimberly Nicole and Allen Wilson, Brenna Kaylin Davis and Billie Eugenia Davis; four great grandchildren, Dylan Paul Henderson, Kierra Marie Davis, Blaine Davis and Aries Davis.
Ms. Fleet was preceded in death by her parents, Haskel Jackson Dean and Mattie Eugenia Ballowe; daughter, Misty Michelle Lawson and sister, Mary Elizabeth Bellotte.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
