Lidia Olea Chávez

Lidia Olea Chávez was born August 3, 1975 in Mexico to Concepcion Olea Flores and Maricela Loeza Carbajal but lived most of her life in Gilmer Texas. She passed away unexpected on May 2, 2022. Lidia was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She always provided comfort with little in return. She was always kind generous, compassionate and always had a heart for helping others. She always enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Felipe Loeza and grandmother Sofonia Carbajal.

Lidia is survived by her husband Cesar Chavez, sons Adolfo Lopez, Eduardo Olea, Cesar Santiago Chavez, daughter Anahy Crystal Chavez, two granddaughters Lillian Rose Lopez, Ellie Maribella Lopez, daughter in law Melania Lopez, and mother in law Sofia Chavez.

Services for Lidia Olea Chavez, 46, of Gilmer will be held at 2pm, Monday, May 9th 2022 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gilmer Texas. A visitation period will be held on Sunday May 8th 2022, from 5pm-9pm at Corley Funeral Home in Gilmer Texas.
