Leroy Daniels

Graveside service for Leroy Daniels, 86, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Mt., Pisgah Cemetery in Pine Mills. Visitation will be on Friday, March 26, 2021, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. He passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2021, in Gilmer.

Mr. Daniels was born on February 14, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, to James Noah and Bertha Brown Daniels. He served in the U. S. Navy, was a master plumber before his retirement and lived in the Gilmer area for 23 years. Leroy married Dee Stone on March 17, 1961, and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dee Daniels of Gilmer; son, Richard Lee Daniels of Largo, Fl.; grandchildren, Joshua Daniels and Kevin Daniels of Tampa; sister, Hazel Carlisle; sister-in-law, Wilda Daniels; sister-in-law, Lee Williams; brother-in-law, Tommy Stone(Gail); several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by sons, Robin Lynn Daniels in 1969 and Roy Lynn Daniels in 2017; brothers, Carol and Virgil Daniels and sister, Jeanette McCrey.
