Leovijilda Rojas Rojas

Leovijilda Rojas, 67 of Big Sandy, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 in Longview. She was born on October 22, 1957 in Huapango Tarimoro Guanajuato, Mexico to Serafin Rojas Ruiz and Maria Carmen Trejo Rojas. Leovijilda was married to Isidro Rojas Ramos, who preceded her in passing in 2012.

Leovijilda worked for many years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed gardening and spending time tending to her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed tending to their little farm and making sure the chickens and other animals were cared for. Leovijilda was an amazing cook as well, but most importantly, she loved being with her family and friends and cherished the time spent with each one of her family members. Leovijilda attended Saint Theresa of The Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Gladewater.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Lupe Rojas and her husband Jay Vonguanith; daughter, Norma Marie Aguillon and her husband, Alejandro Aguillon; daughter, Maria Vega and her husband Jose Vega; son, Tony Rojas and his wife, Susana Rojas; son, Isidro Rojas and his wife Dora Rojas; son, Armando Rojas and his wife Martha Rojas; son, Pablo Rojas; grandchildren, Preston Vonguanith, Ethan Vonguanith, Janet Nayeli Aguillon, Anay Aracely Aguillon, Sofia Belen Aguillon, Nelly Vega, Nancy Vega, Kristy Vega, Isaac Rojas, Natalie Rojas, Briana Rojas, Octavio Rojas, Cindy Rojas, Leanny Rojas, Jayden Rojas, Genesis Rojas, Iszabella Rojas; great-grandson, Jonah Parker-Nash; mother, Maria Carmen Trejo Rojas; as well as many extended family members.

Leovijilda is preceded in death by her father, Serafin Rojas Ruiz, and her beloved husband, Isidro Rojas Ramos.

The family will receive guest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary Prayer beginning at 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial for Leovijilda will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at Saint Theresa of The Infant Jesus Catholic Church, followed by the committal at Rosedale Cemetery in Gladewater, TX.
