Services for Leonard Eugene Swain, 59 of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Charles Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Swain passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Gilmer. Mr. Swain was born on January 19, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona to Jesse Joe and Mary Edith Creek. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Swain is survived by his wife, Patty Sue Swain of Gilmer; sons Leonard Eugene Swain, Dustin Trent Babb, Joseph Carter Babb; daughter, Shannon Devon Robertson; brothers, Utah Swain, Elmer Swain and Jesse Paul Swain, Jr.; Sister Margaret and 3 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, from 8:30 A.M until 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
