Graveside services for Leona Ann Treadwell, 88, of Gilmer will be Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Leona passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 in Longview. No formal visitation will be held.

Mrs. Treadwell was born October 28, 1928 in Marion County, Texas to the late L. Dick Morris and Doris Wolaver. She was a Harleton High School graduate in the class of 1946. Mrs. Treadwell was a Registered Nurse and worked in Dallas, Longview before retiring in Gilmer after 50 years of service. She enjoyed traveling and bird watching. Mrs. Treadwell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She will be truly missed by all the friends and family she leaves behind.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Julie Treadwell of Big Sandy; three sisters Sue Dickerson of Tyler, Fern Younger of Tyler and Shirley Copeland of Gladewater; four grandchildren Deira Wagner, Darcy Seahorn and husband Jeremy, Deisha Trimble and husband Chad, Dana Farr and husband Jeremy, and twelve great grandchildren many other loving family and friends.

Leona is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Treadwell, and brother Garth Morris.
