Leon Ishmael

Graveside services for Leon Ishmael, 94, of East Mountain, will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Mr. Ishmael passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at his residence.
Leon was born August 14, 1923, in Direct, TX, to Jessie Leslie and Cora Leona Ishmael. He worked for many years with G.E. in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Ishmael also served in the Army during WWII. He loved his family any enjoyed living life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal in 1995, and is survived by his daughter, Leslie Kirby; grandsons, Ray Lynn Cardwell and Marcus Wynn Cardwell; two great grandchildren, Dustin Ray Cardwell and Joshua Brady Cardwell and a host of caregivers and friends.
No visitation is scheduled.
