Lennie Sue Medlin

Services for Mrs. Lennie Sue Medlin, 72, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday August 30, 2010, at the Frontier Church of Northeast Texas with Bro. Rubin Metcalf, Bro. Shannon Arrington and Bro. Holland Atchley officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Burial will follow in the Old East Mountain Cemetery. Mrs. Medlin passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 in Gilmer. She was born March, 21 1938, on Island 37, Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Medlin was an RN and the former owner of Haden Medical Service. After selling the business she became a sales representative for Proctor and Gamble for 13 years until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Doug Medlin of Gilmer; son, Bobby Haden Jr. of Longview; daughter, Diana Hillin of Dallas; Step-sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas Lee Medlin and wife Darla of Price and Denny Medlin and wife Elaine of East Mountain; brother, Jerry Bailey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Linette Bailey and Sally Boozer both of Batesville Arkansas and Ruth McClure of Kingman Arizona; two grandchildren, Stephen Medlin and wife, Mandie and B.J. Medlin and two great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Richard Fincher, Kelley Ferrell, Rudy Eddington, Eddie Eddington, Shelby Eddington and Paul Matthews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 29, 2010, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
