Lena Faye Stevens

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Faye Stevens, 76, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January, 24, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Chaplain Mark Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Stevens passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Gilmer. She was born on October 5, 1938 in Upshur County, Texas to Clarence and Eathel Hudspeth Shaver. Mrs. Stevens was a secretary for Wal-Mart and an Abstract office and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Stevens in 1996 and great-great grandchild Elaina Grimes on January 2, 2014. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Ronda Stevens of Sand Hill; two grandsons and spouses, Tim and Stacy Grimes and Paul and Amber Grimes; two great grandchildren, Kreston and Lincoln Grimes. Pallbearers for the service will be Andy Stevens, Craig Brown, Tim Grimes, Paul Grimes, Glen Parsons and Odie Goree. The honorary pallbearer will be Curt Carter. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2014 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
