GILMER " Funeral services for Lena Chamberlain, 90, of Gilmer will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Chamberlain passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. She was born on December 18, 1924 in Gilmer to Benjamin Franklin Haney and Maggie Lee Newell Haney. She was a member of Latch Good Neighbor Club, a correspondent for Latch News for over thirty years, and a published crochet designer. Mrs. Chamberlain is survived by her sons, Donny Chamberlain and wife, Paula, Robert Chamberlain and wife, Glenda; daughter, Evalena Lambert and husband, Roland; grandchildren, Felecia Hux, Jeffery Youngblood, Paul Chamberlain and wife, Kelli, Chrissy Flinn, Kyle Chamberlain and wife, Lindsay, Cory Chamberlain and wife, Brooke, and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fennis Edward Chamberlain; grandson, Jayson McHenry; numerous brothers and sisters, and a special friend, Joe Jordan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
