Lavalda Lambert

Services for Mrs. Lavalda Lambert, 80, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Wednesday, January, 25, 2012, at Rosewood Baptist Church in Upshur County, Texas with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Lambert passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Gilmer. She was born on July 14, 1931, in Upshur County, Texas to Leamon Earl and Ethel Gunn Bullock. Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker and a member of Rosewood Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Myra and Don Ritter of Gilmer, Linda and Ronnie Tuel of Gilmer; sisters and brothers-in-law Nalda and Milton Gibson of Longview, Sally and Bobby Bradley of Lake Palestine, Texas; eleven grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by the love of her life husband, Martin Lambert on January 3, 2010. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
