Lauris Patterson

Graveside services for Lauris Patterson, 85 of Gilmer will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 25, 2015, at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Patterson died on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Gilmer. She was born on September 2, 1930 in Upshur County to Louie and Ima Fennell Patterson. Mrs. Patterson married Robert Gene "Pat" Patterson on July 4, 1947 in Gilmer. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers; husband, Robert Gene "Pat" Patterson, on April 27, 2013 and a niece Peggy Davis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tom Hill of Port Aransas; grandsons, Scott Hill of Austin, Brent Hill and wife, Lesley of Dallas; great granddaughter, Emerson Louisa Hill and great grandson, Everett Scott Hill of Dallas and nephew Gary Patterson of Gilmer. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
