Larry Cameron Spears

Mr. Larry Cameron Spears, age 64, of Gladewater, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home. The family will hold a come and go Memorial Visitation at their home, 9077 Bob O’ Link Rd. Gladewater, Texas 75647, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM
Larry was born on October 17, 1954 in Gladewater to the late R.G. and Dorothy Cameron Spears. He was a self-employed truck driver, and a Baptist. Larry was a loving husband, and father with an affable personality and giving heart, who never met a stranger. Larry enjoyed deer hunting, collecting and restoring antique cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia (Bailey) Spears of Gladewater; son, Cameron Scott Spears of Gladewater; daughter, Melissa (Spears) Starnes and husband Justin of Terry, MS.; brother, Leslie Spears and wife Kathy of Gladewater; sisters, Carolyn Scribner and husband Greg of Winston-Salem, NC. Marylin Morris and husband Gary of White Oak.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, George Spears.
