Lacy Gene Arnold

Lacy Gene Arnold, 81, of Hawkins passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Arnold was born December 15, 1932, in Melissa, TX to William Ardell and Jewel Katherine Lacy Arnold. He was a retired career police officer with the City of Garland, long-time resident on Brooks Lake, veteran of the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955 and a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Lanelle Crawley Arnold of Hawkins; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Keith and Jackie Arnold of Lindale and Gregory Scott and Suzanne Arnold of Garland; grandson, Austin Arnold; granddaughter, Madison Christine Arnold of Garland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry "Butch" and Patricia Arnold and William and Loutricia Arnold; sisters, Joy Arnold Chastain, Carolyn Arnold Boone and Fama Arnold Grigg. There is no scheduled visitation.
