Kristine "Kristie" Leann Madden

Kristine “Kristie: Leann Madden, 44, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family on June 24, 2022, in Longview after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kristie was born December 29, 1977 in Longview to Douglas Ray Verner and Drusilla Joy Borden. She enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed sports, fishing and hunting. Kristie loved watching her daughters play softball and was their biggest fan and cheerleader. She was a great cook and made sure no one ever left hungry. Kristie was often outspoken and opinionated; but was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Kristie will never be forgotten by all those that knew and loved her.

Kristie is survived by her loving husband Randy Malachi Madden; parents Doug and Joy Verner; three daughters Christen Lynn Hester and husband Riggs, Cagen Rayann Madden and Trinity Rene’ Madden; two brothers Joshua Ray Verner and wife Monica and Kyle Benjamin Verner; three grandchildren Tommy Wayne Hester, Aerilynn Rose Hester and Raelyn Kaye Hester; lifelong friend Shirley Love; numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. The family will receive friends following the services.
