Kristan "Krissy" D'Ann Cordray

Funeral services for Kristan “Krissy” D’Ann Cordray, 34, of Gladewater will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Gladewater, with Reverend Dick Dobbins and Reverend Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Cordray passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, in Tyler.

Krissy was born November 6, 1983 in Longview, Texas to John Edward Philpot and Michele Philpot. She worked as a Mammographer for the UT Health Center in Tyler. She enjoyed crafts, gardening her rose bushes, baking and spending time with her family and friends. Krissy was a Gladewater H.S. graduate and was a member of the Honey Bears dance line. She loved the mountains and vacationing in Colorado. Krissy could be described as a confident, headstrong, loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and homemaker. She loved her children and never missed any of their activities; servicing as a Cub Scout Mom and was the always active Dance Mom. Krissy will truly be missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by her husband Scott Cordray; two children Brittany Leigh Cordray and Logan Michael Cordray; parents John and Michele Philpot; two sisters Kristal Rodriguez and husband Joseph and Katye Larrington; grandparents Doss and Donna Hunt and Emma Jean Philpot; great grandmother Martha Shelton; mother-in-law and father-in-law Sharlene and Melvin Cordray; sister-in-law Christie Bell and husband Brad; grandmother-in-law Joy Cordray; eight nieces and nephews as well as many other loving family and friends.

Krissy is preceded in death by her grandfather James Philpot.
