Kory Shawn Martin

Graveside services for Kory Shawn Martin, 42, of Timpson will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Gilmer with Kory’s uncle Wayne McKay officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Kory passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Timpson.

Mr. Martin was born February 20, 1974 in Longview, Texas to William Larry Martin and Nelda Sue Gage Martin. Kory worked as a supervisor for Archrock Services in Kilgore. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Kory could be described as strong willed, tender hearted and always willing to help family and friends. He was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle. Kory will be truly missed by the loving family and friends he leaves behind.

He is survived by his parents Larry and Sue Martin of Gilmer; two sisters Katrina Diane Hillier of Lufkin and Kayra Denise Hatcher of Longview; four nieces Brianne Nicole Hillier, Hannah Kaitlyn Hillier, Kylie Grace Hillier and Kennedy Rae Hatcher; one nephew Samuel Paul Hillier as well as many other loving family and friends.
