Kirby Lynn Smallwood

Graveside services for Kirby Lynn Smallwood, 58, of Kilgore, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Rock Springs Cemetery on February 19, 2016 with Reverend Brian Williams officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Smallwood passed away on February 15, 2016. Kirby Lynn Smallwood was born to Billy Ray and Roberta Smallwood on September 3, 1957 in Dallas, Texas. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Nascar fan who loved his children and grandchildren. He worked as a truck driver and loved to tinker with trucks and lawn mowers in his spare time. Kirby also enjoyed grilling and setting out by the fire with his family. Mr. Smallwood is survived by his wife, Lisa Smallwood; mother, Roberta Keadle; daughter and son-in-law, Shana Smallwood and Kevin Bryant; sons, Canaan Smallwood and Kevin Smallwood; brothers, Walter Smallwood and Steve Smallwood; sister, Karen Chavez; grandchildren: Sonny Smallwood, Ethan Smallwood, Zane Smallwood, Haven Smallwood, Jake Smallwood and Emma Smallwood, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Ray Smallwood and brother, William Rex Smallwood.
