Kim Gay Hunter

Funeral services for Kim Gay Hunter, 52, will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Wolstenholm officiating. Interment will be in Morris Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Hunter passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Hunter was born April 25, 1960, in Gilmer to James Lyndell and Crystel Shaw Hunter. She was a Woodsmith and had lived in Gilmer all her life. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Crystel and Kenneth Watts of Gilmer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Lynn and Marsha Hunter of Palestine, Joe Bob and Sandra Hunter of Gilmer and half brother, James David Williams of Paris; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and James Barber of Gilmer; step-brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Michelle Watts of Tatum and step-sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Mike King of Trinity, Sharon Terrier of Gilmer and Shelly and Tommy Driver of Longview; nine nieces and nephews; Jared Hunter and Jamie Hunter Weaver; David, Jason and Jessica Barber; Joseph and Eric Hunter and Brandi Hunter Woods. She also had 18 great nieces and nephews and her four dogs, Hershey, Fancy, Clair and Oreo. She is preceded in death by her father, James Lyndell Hunter; brother, James Roy Hunter; sister, Linda Carol Hunter and nephew, Casey Jo Hunter. Pallbearers will be David Barber, Jason Barber, Jared Hunter, Johnathon Weaver, Eric Hunter and Danny Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carson Barber and Hunter Weaver. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
