Kim Randall Childress

Kim Randall Childress, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 5th, 2023, in Longview, Texas. He was born on February 1st, 1960, Taylor, Texas to William and Betty Childress.

Kim was a hard worker, he retired from Sabine Mining Co. after 35 years. He loved his family very much and was always there when they needed him. His pride and joy was his grandson, Jett, he loved watching him play at his baseball, football and basketball games. He was his #1 fan.

Those left to cherish his memories are, Katherine O'Connor; daughter Summer Childress; brother Wesley Childress (Tammy); grandson Jett Hoang; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ricky Childress.

A visitation for Kim will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas on December 8th, 2023,  between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, allowing family and friends to come together to share their memories of Kim.

On December 9th, 2023, a graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas at 2:00 PM.
