Kevin Smith

Funeral services for Kevin Don Smith will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1:00PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer.

Kevin was born in 1956 in Longview, Texas to Don & Mary Belle Althouse Smith and he passed away on May 5, 2017 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Longview High School in 1975.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents Don and Mary Belle Smith, his grandparents, Howard & Edrie Althouse, & grandmother, Della Smith & several other relatives.

He is survived by his brother Kelly Mark Smith and sister-in-law Donna of Euless, Texas. Also, an aunt and uncle Larry & Peggy Brown of Longview, Texas and numerous cousins and devoted friends of the family, Tommy Thomas and Steve Hutchison of Longview. Kevin was also a devoted uncle to his loving nephew and niece Patrick Smith and Laura Ciardetti.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
