Kevin Chastain

Mr. Kevin Rex Chastain, age 49 of Marshall, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in San Antonio. Kevin was born in Longview on November 12, 1971 to Rex Chastain and Betty Jo Cooper Chastain. He was a heavy equipment operator in the oil and energy production industries; a member of Athey Baptist Church in Harleton, an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his father Rex Chastain.
He is survived by his partner of 18 years, Samantha Chapman of Marshall; mother, Betty Chastain of Harleton; brother, Roger Smith and wife Rose of Harleton; sons, Brandon Rex Chastain of Harleton, Timothy Joe Chastain of Harleton; the mother of his children, Kristy Chastain; grandson, Landon Rex Chastain.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Center Cemetery in Harleton with Bro. Craig Evers and Bro. Aaron Burwell officiating.
