Kerry Dwayne Lee, Sr.

Kerry Dwayne Lee, Sr. passed away on October 29, 2021 at Memorial Herman Hospital Northeast in Humble, Texas. He was born in Longview, Texas on June 13, 1957 to the late Clarence Franklin and Ollie Faye Hill Lee. Kerry married his high school sweetheart, Sheila Elaine Warren Lee.
Kerry spent time practicing law as an attorney as well as working in the funeral profession at a few different funeral homes in the areas where he lived, but his real love was serving as a minister. He enjoyed singing, playing scrabble and loved coaching soccer, especially for his children.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Kerry Dwayne Lee, Jr. (Lara), Sean Alan Lee (Lanette “Cricket”) and Kara D’Nae Casselman (Josh); his six and a half (one on the way) grandchildren, who knew Kerry as “Big Daddy” Peter, James, Ella, Gabriel, Shayna and Billy; and siblings, Douglas Lee (Debbie) and Wanda Thomas (Mark), as well as many other extended family members. Kerry is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will take place Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 1:00-2:30 pm at Croley Funeral Home – Gladewater, 401 North Center Street. Graveside services will take place at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Gladewater Memorial Park, 4716 US Highway 80, Big Sandy, Texas.
