Funeral services for Kenny Saxon, 50, of Big Sandy, Texas will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Croley Chapel in Gilmer with Eric Trimble officiating. Interment will be in Chilton Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Saxon passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. Mr. Saxon was born July 24, 1962, in Dallas, Texas to Windle and Barbara Griffin Saxon. He was a supervisor for Gibraltar Chemical Resources, member of the Big Sandy Masonic Lodge #916 and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Jan Saxon of Big Sandy; son, Chase Saxon of Big Sandy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Delesia and Terry Hudson of Hawkins and Cindy and Bobby Green of Hawkins, granddaughter, Ella Saxon of Big Sandy, "The Light of His Life". Mr. Saxon was preceded in death by his parents, Windle and Barbara Saxon. Pallbearers will be Terry Hudson, Bobby Green, Kevin Saxon, Darrell Cook, Rick McCartney, B.J. Green, Robert Denton and Kevin Dollins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cory Clifton, Jack McIntosh, Ronnie McIntosh, Kollin McCartney and Kamden McCartney. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2012 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
