Graveside services for Kenneth Eugene Denney, 89, of Longview, Texas will be Monday, May 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Our precious husband, father and grandfather passed from this life Saturday, May 28, 2016 in Longview. Kenneth was born the seventh of seven to Charlie and Amanda Allgood Denney on September 25, 1926 in Oklahoma. Ken retired from Lone Star Gas and Guy Willis Inspections. He was loved by his co-workers and all he came in contact with in his life. Ken is survived by his wife of 36 years, Georgia Denney; daughters, Mariann Green, Debbie Streety, Carol Coulter and Kelly Moore; sons, Keith Denney and Dusty Snider; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Ken absolutely loved playing with the littles, dancing, fishing and winning at dominoes. He was a sweet and gentle man and we"ll all miss him. The family would like to thank the staff of Legend Oaks, Dr. Tim Tobin, and nurse, Brittany from Longview Regional Hospital for their loving care. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas.
