Kenneth Carlton Smith

Celebration of life services for Kenneth Carlton Smith, 89, of Longview will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Kenneth passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 in Longview.

Mr. Smith was born June 8, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late William Richard Smith and Lucille Edna Evans. He was retired from the dry cleaning business after many years of service. Mr. Smith served in the United States Marines during World War II. He will be truly missed by all the friends and family he leaves behind.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Adrene P. Smith; children Rick and Beckey Offield of Jefferson, TX, Becky and Charlie Bowers of Winslow, AR and Bruce and Patty Smith of Pleasant Hill, MO; also surviving Kenneth are Jim and Alvalin Woodul of Killeen, TX, Dave and Julie Woodul of New Braunfels, TX and Chuck and Shonna Woodul of Americus, GA as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.

The family will receive friends following Kenneth’s life celebration service at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
