Kenneth Bailey Johnson

Kenneth Bailey Johnson was called home, April 11, 2016. His celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church in Hawkins, Texas on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home " Hawkins. Mr. Johnson was born in Farmersville, Texas on May 19, 1921 to Clyde Mabron Johnson and Pear Este Wisdom. Kenneth joined the army and was deployed in WWII where he spent 28 months on foreign soil. Up on his return, he married the love of his life, Wanda Kirkland, November 1, 1947. Kenneth went into the farming business and had a garden and farm animals until his last days. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Wanda Johnson; daughter, Pamela Burnett and husband, Bernie Burnett; son, Paul Johnson and wife, Cissy Johnson; eight grandchildren, Jason, Jarrod, Danna, Jeremy, Mikey, Matthew, Shannon, Natalie; and 16 great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; and a daughter, Melody Kent Johnson. Pallbearers will be Paul Johnson, Jason Danielson, Jarrod Danielson, Jeremy Danielson, Matthew Johnson, Mikey Danielson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bailey Danielson, Tyler Danielson, Garrett Danielson, Landon Johnson, John Esler and Bernie Burnett. No formal visitation is scheduled.
