Karen Pannell DIANA �Services for Karen Pannell, 58, of Longview will be at 10:00 AM., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints on Blueridge Parkway in Longview, with Bishop Thomas Bayles conducting. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County. She passed away June 3, 2012 in Longview. Karen was born September 29, 1953 in Longview, Texas to Selman and Neva McNew. She was a nurse and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints. She was preceded in death by her mother Neva McNew. She is survived by her husband: Kelvin Pannell, sons: Gary Watkins and Joe Watkins, daughters: Sheri Lopez & Samantha Fenwick, father and wife: Selman & Carrie McNew, brothers: Daniel McNew & Shane McNew, sisters: Kathy Richardson & Virginia Grubbs, grandchildren: Felicity, Celeste, Jonas & Payton Watkins, Hailey Arndt & Micah Lopez. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
