Funeral services for, June Alice Dunlap Stuart, of Winona, will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana, at 12:00 PM, Father Mark Dunn and Brother Lance Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM til 12:00 PM at the funeral home, interment will follow at Mattox Cemetery in Diana.
June Alice Dunlap Stuart, age 52, of Winona, passed away on Friday, July 06, 2018 at a Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. June was born July 15, 1965 at Edwards Air Force Base Kern County, California to William L. and Maria Esther Diaz Dunlap. She graduated from New Diana in 1984, before attending Kilgore College. After college she worked for the East Texas Oil Museum in Kilgore, and later owned Grand Star Manufacturing in Kilgore until 2012. She married Ray Stuart on April 23, 2013 and retired to live on Howell Lake with her husband Ray.
June’s colorful spirit was revealed in the stained glass and many art projects she created. June and Ray enjoyed life at the lake with fishing and gardening. She loved cooking and canning their garden harvest. She also loved entertaining at her lake house with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Stuart; parents, William and Maria Esther Dunlap; sister, Cindy Duckworth and husband Michael and their children Nikki Duckworth her daughters Adaline, Sophia and Isabella. Elizabeth Barker and husband Michael and their sons Marx, Dane and Gray. Victoria Northcutt and her daughters Harlynn and Charlee. Brother Pedro A. Diaz and his children Anwar, Shaula and William. Cousins Dr. Marilu Rivera and her daughter Ixchel.
