Judith Ann Bauman, 81, passed away on April 10, 2025. She was born April 8,1944 to Jo and Jonny Holloway in Raleigh, NC. On this day our wife/mom/mi-mi went to meet her Jesus as she would say. She fought so hard and for so long. We are forever grateful for the time we had with her. The world is a different place without her here but she will forever live in our hearts. She was loved beyond measure and will be missed even more.
Judy played the piano for many years at Pritchett Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed traveling, watching the Texas Rangers and spending time with those she loved. She worked as a truck driver (yep, large trucks with her 5' nothing self), a nurse, a café owner with her best friend, and a foster mom to many kids over her incredible life. She always welcomed anyone in need into her heart and home.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Madison Bauman. Her sons and daughters Arvin Field (Jessica), Fort Worth, TX, Scott Field, Gladewater, TX, Shannon Cooper (Steve), Pritchett, TX, Joel Bauman (Janelle), Land O Lakes, FL, Jessica Darby (Clinton), Gilmer, TX, Jeanesha Godfrey (ShaTarra), Austin, TX and George Bauman, Gilmer, TX. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren plus one on the way.
A colorful (no black clothing please) celebration of life will be held May 17, 2025 at Pritchett Missionary Baptist Church located at 315 Holly Road Gilmer, TX at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pritchett Missionary Baptist Church in Judy’s name. Please mail to 320 Holly Road Gilmer, TX 75644.
We got you, Mi-Mi now and always!
