Graveside services for Joyce Anderson, 87, of Concord Community will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park with Virgil Faires officiating. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Anderson was born April 6, 1926, in DeKalb, Texas, to Hollis and Irene Arnold. She married Gerald Anderson in August of 1952. She was retired school teacher, having taught at Gilmer and Ore City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; and son, Dr. Mitchell Anderson; and brother Mark Arnold. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Melinda Jordan and husband Murray of Concord; daughter-in-law, Barbara Anderson of Flint; grandchildren, Dr. Maura Tarkington, Patrick Anderson and Diana Tyler.
