Joy Virginia Berry

Funeral services for Joy Virginia Berry, 76, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Kimbrough officiating. Interment will be in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Berry passed away Friday, October 14, 2011, at a Tyler hospital. Mrs. Berry was born September 29, 1935, in the Ranger, Texas to Eugene William and Myrtle Beatrice Merritt Woods. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Lester Eugene Berry of Gilmer; daughters, Terry Lynn Berry of Gilmer and Ginger Ann Nation of Gilmer; sisters, June Nutt of Longview and Elsie Tate of White Oak; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Berry is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Berry in July 2011. Pallbearers will be the Dustin Hardin, Colin Hardin, Jason Hill, Jordan Hill, Seth Nation, and Christian Nation. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
