Services for Mr. Joshua Adam Thompson, 23, of Gilmer are scheduled for 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Fenton officiating. Mr. Thompson passed away March 13, 2013 in Washington D.C. Joshua Adam Thompson was born December 13, 1989, in Lewisville, Texas to Charles Thompson and the late Mary Jane Thompson. Joshua graduated from Gilmer High School and joined the United States Navy where he served as Corpsmen. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gilmer. He is survived by his wife, Carla Thompson of Las Vegas, NV; father & stepmother, Charles & Shirley Thompson of Reeseville, WI; maternal grandparents, Ronald & Shirley Thompson of Gilmer, TX; paternal grandmother, Gladys Wilson of Bonham, TX, and brother Thomas Allen Thompson of Wylie, TX Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 P.M., prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church.
