Jonathan Wayne Jones

GILMER- Jonathan Wayne Jones, 34, of Gilmer, Texas passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 in Longview. He was born on January 28, 1982 in Longview to Donna Jones Alonso. He worked for Frito Lay in Longview and was a member of New Heights Church of God. He married Tamra Cobb Jones on May 21, 2011. Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife, Tamra Jones; mother, Donna Alonso; sons, Justin Jones, Elijah Jenkins, and Riley Prewitt; daughter, Alantrya Mcallister; brothers, Vannon Alonso and Orlando Alonso; sister, Mary Couley; mother in law, Wanda Smith and Michael; grandfather, Wayne Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Helen Jones. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
