GILMER- Graveside Services for Johnnie Faye Landers, 80, of Denton, Texas, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County with Mr. Perry Cowan officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Landers passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Denton. She was born on January 12, 1936 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to John Edward and Laura Janie Hayes Kemp. Mrs. Landers was a retired nurse for the State of Texas. She was loved very much by her family and friends. Mrs. Landers is survived by her daughters, Laura Ann Bishop Jones, Lora Lee Bishop Fulgham, Cynthia Landers Rojas; sons, Steven Landers, Jeffrey Landers, James Landers; grandchildren, Kenneth Laroy Brackenridge, Kelley Brackenridge, Jennifer Lee Bishop, Joseph Rojas, Amber Landers, Ashley Landers; great grandchildren, Christian Alexander Brackenridge and Hayden Ehle Bishop. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Glen Landers and her parents, John and Laura Kemp. No formal visitation will be held.
