Johnie Michael Shaffer
Johnie “Pudge” Shaffer, 66, of Ore City, was born August 5, 1957, in Casa Grande, Arizona to Joseph and Betty Shaffer and passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in Longview, Texas. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, June 1, at the home of Pudge and Shiela from 12-4 PM.
Pudge loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Nascar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joni Shaffer Jones; brother, Jim Shaffer.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shiela Shaffer of Ore City; son, John Shaffer and wife Kiley Shaffer of Ore City; son-in-law Jason Jones of Ore City; grandchildren: Candice, Caila, Seth, Christa, Natalie and Kaleb; great-children: Grayson and Carmen.
