Johnathon Christopher Johnson

J.C. passed away February 13, 2020, at the age of 18, and is now in the arms of Jesus. J.C. was born October 12, 2001 to Brandon and Sandra Johnson in Kilgore Texas. He was an amazing young man with dimples that would melt the coldest heart. Though J.C. faced many hardships in his life, he never let them keep him down. He went back to school and earned his high school diploma. He recently registered to join the US Army where he planned to become a combat medic. He was a Christian who volunteered as a children's VBS leader. He enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, listening to music, and playing the guitar. He was our son, grandson, nephew, brother, cousin, and friend, and he will be missed every second of every day until we are together again in heaven. He left behind his grandparents Susan and Steve Fox his brothers Aaron Smith and Dylan Haire, his sister Macy Johnson,  his Aunts, Sarah Gonzales and Samantha Collins, his Uncles, Shawn Fox, Stephen Gomez-Fox, and Scott Fox,  as well as many cousins and honorary family. A reception was held on 2/28/20 at East mountain Baptist Church where friends and family came together to show their love and say their good byes.  No longer by my side, forever in my heart.
