John Gay Heim Gladewater " Memorial services for John Gay Heim, 80, of Gilmer, will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 1 P.M. at 6109 Locust Road, Gilmer, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on July 7, 1931, in Henderson, Texas, he died on Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Baptist, and a retired pipe fitter. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Heim of Gilmer; son, Kevin Heim Herron of Alba; daughters Sandy Herron-Dunn of Gladewater, Wendi Heim of Gladewater; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Haskell and Pat Heim of Marshall; and Herman Ed Heim of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ed and Flossie Pauline Heim, and sister, Martha Juanita Heim.
