Funeral service for John David Crank, 45 of Gilmer, TX will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Jerome Ellard officiating and interment to follow at Chilton Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Friday, February 2, from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Mr. Crank passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 in Gilmer, TX.

John David was born in Sioux Falls, SD on January 24, 1973 to Ronald Crank and Darlene Bever Kovacs. He graduated from Ambassador College and was employed as a landscaper. John David was an avid golfer, loved to sing and listen to music of all kinds. He was also a member of New Beginnings in Big Sandy.

Mr. Crank is survived by his mother; Darlene Kovacs and husband Robert of Gilmer, father; Ron E. Crank of Independence, MO, sister; Lara McFeely of Austin, and numerous cousins.
