Jodie F. Ward Gladewater -- Memorial services for Jodie F. Ward, 77, of Gladewater, will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Jodie left this earth to be in perfect union with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Born on January 5, 1935, in Glenwood, Arkansas, to J.R. and Estelle Ward, he married his right woman, Rosalee Scott, in 1955 and together they enjoyed 57 years of unconditional love. They reared four sons in Gladewater. Jodie was an avid guitar player and singer. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineers throughout the United States. He is survived by his wife, Rosalee Ward of Gladewater; 2 sons, David Lee Ward of Diana; Matthew Scott Ward of Gladewater; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Shaun Ward, Kevin Ward, Eli Ward, and Linzie Ward; 1 great-granddaughter, Fallon Ward; and 2 sisters, Doris Gill of Judson and Janie Frank of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jodie Raymond Ward and James William Ward. No visitation is scheduled.
